Stadium Australia is located in Homebush, about 17 kilometres from the CBD. The stadium itself is 16 hectares and is accesable by car, bus, train, and ferry. The stadium was built for the Sydney Olympics, at a cost of over $600 million. It is now used for various other events, including sports like NRL (rugby league), and also for other events such as the gatecrasher rave to be held there soon. The stadium is located near all the other structures built for the Olympics, such as the Superdome among others. Also inside are function rooms such as the Millenium Room which is the banquet hall that can seat 1000 for dining, and the Olympians, Champions, Legends, and Ambassadors rooms, which are used cheifly for corporate meetings.
