A lubricant for dry noses from Pharmascience. Very practical in the winter, especially if you have a wood furnace. Will stop nosebleeds. Comes in 5g and 30g formats. Indications: For the temporary relief of stuffiness and sneezing caused by hay fever, or other allergies, colds and sinus trouble.
Contents: Mixture of polyethylene glycol 15% and propylene glycol 20% in a gel adjusted to pH 5.5.
Usual dose: Intranasal: A small amount of gel applied into each nostril every 4 hours as needed. Full prescribing information available to physicians and pharmacists on request. Protect from freezing.

Specifically a nasal gel, Secaris is easily replaced by petrolatum (or Vaseline), which has several other uses
