A syndicated weekly late-night talk show, hosted by Sammy Davis, Jr.; New York easy-listening DJ William B. Williams was his sidekick. It lasted a couple of years, and was quite unmemorable (else I could make a node string out of this) - but the combo of

  • an ex-Rat Packer
  • a guy whose radio days were numbered (thanks to The Devil's Music)
  • less-than-A-list guests
made for enough yuks (intentional or not) to inspire SCTV's Sammy Maudlin parodies.
