SCSI-1, or Narrow SCSI, is an antiquated version of SCSI that was once implimented in CD-ROM's, and more frequently, really old HDD. Narrow SCSI is limited to 5 Mbytes per second and a Single-Ended length of 6 meters, an HVD length of 25 meters, and a maximum of 8 devices on a chain.
