Something you
eat. Fairly common in
Nebraska thanks to a
fast food chain that sells them called
Runza Hut.
It is basically cooked ground beef and some other fixings with dough baked around it. I think they are pretty good. Here is a recipe if you want to try making them at home:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- Dash of tabasco
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- some frozen dough
Brown
hamburger and
onions, strain, add
cabbage, seasonings and water. Simmer 15-20 min. Cool completely before putting into dough.
Roll out the dough, cut into squares, Divide the mix between the squares. Pull 4 sides up and press edges together. Place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 20 min.
I think I have a recipe of dough also, but that takes forever to make, so I always use frozen.
