Technically, it is an
antiquated British
regiment armed with
fusils. Active during World War I and
World War II.
Company C of the Royal Fusiliers was the
regiment in which
Eric Fletcher Waters (father of
Roger Waters) belonged. They fortified the beachhead at
Anzio, after their commander's request to have them
pull back was
denied.
The company was wiped out totally.
