Rice Krispies Square Massacre

• 3 tablespoons margarine
• 1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
• 2 teaspoons cherry flavoring
• 1 teaspoon red food coloring
• 6 cups Rice Krispies® cereal
• 1/2 cup dried tart cherries
• Vegetable cooking spray
• Marashino Cherries (optional)

1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in cherry flavoring and red food coloring.
2. Add Rice Krispies® cereal and dried cherries. Stir until well coated.
3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool.
4. Add more red food coloring if you want to squares to appear even bloodier. Add bits of cut up marashino cherries for added realism.
