Qibla Cola is a new company which touts itself as "a real alternative to global consumer brands" (by which it obviously means Coca-Cola and Pepsico).

The brand, founded by Zahida Parveen, has Islamic roots and was started because of "resentment towards global brands", which apparently runs wild across the world. It calls Qibla Cola itself an "ethical alternative", which the company describes as having a taste in between the big two-having tried it myself, it fits that description perfectly.

10% of all profit made on the drink goes to Third World causes, and the drink contains no animal extracts. It is produced in Yorkshire, avoiding workforce exploitation by quite some way.
