The Plymouth Volare was the pinnacle of Chrysler's 1970s engineering ideals. It was replete with all the hallmarks of economic luxury the 1970s could offer, such as polished aluminum and rich Corinthian vinyl. Came in a wimpy and cruddy V6 model, and two V8 models, one of which was the incredibly durable and largely bulletproof 318. The Plymouth grill-shape is a thing of beauty. Sniff.
