A type of Virtual Reality created from photographic images, as opposed to mathematical or abstract models. Using Photographic VR is like looking at a real place through your monitor. Other types of VR, such as VRML create artificial environments from polygonal models, rather than a photographic image. See Quicktime VR for example. Common types of phtographic VR include cylindrical images and spherical images.
