American anti-psychiatry author, lecturer and activist. Founder of the ICSPP, (International Centre for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology). He is a noted opponent of the indiscriminate use of psychiatric drugs such as Ritalin or Prozac. He also campaigns against coercive treatment, ECT and the dehumanising aspects of the science of psychiatry.
