Today members of Just Stop Oil, a group protesting our reliance on oil and gas, threw tomato soup at a Vincent Van Gogh "Sunflowers" painting at London's National Gallery. The painting is behind glass and was not damaged; the group merely sought media attention with the stunt. Those responsible for the souping have been arrested.

Perhaps their next protest will involve tossing sunflowers at an Andy Warhol painting of soup cans.
