I saw a strange thing in biology lab:
A flesh and fur mouse, asleep on a slab.

A man in a coat, for a year worth of pay,
Attached a liquid crystal display.

With micro incisions and transistor pack,
Mouse quivered and jolted--a mousey on crack.

A mouse-year later he's under control:
Mouse little soldier--mouse on patrol.

Dropped from a plane or launched in a can,
We can drive him through pipes and not risk a man.

Mouse becomes our ears and eyes.
Best thing of all: it's okay if he dies.
