Milk candy is made by various
Japanese,
Chinese and
Korean brands. Small
hard candies, usually with happy
cows or something on the wrappers. The kind I'm eating today has photographic
farm scenes on one wrapper and a shot of happy
Holsteins in a
Swiss meadow (or something, the
Alps are visible in the background). This particular flavor tastes like
condensed milk, very
sweet. Another brand I tried had three varieties in the package:
chocolate milk,
cream, and
strawberry milk. They all tasted exactly like that.
Freaky.
If you are
lactose-intolerant but like the taste of milk, these are not for you. Most of them are actually made with real
milk.
