Melville

1991 album by the geek-rock band the Rheostatics. Overall it has kind of a spooky sound, especially in their excellent cover of Gordon Lightfoot's song The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Chanson Les Ruelles is really funny -- it's all in French but sung with absolutely no French accent. Record Body Count makes me really sad for some reason.

I played this album all the time when I first moved to Canada. It helped to get me in the mood for my first really long dark winter.
