Operating System software for the Apple Lisa 2 and Macintosh XL
which allowed them to run most Macintosh software, by
emulating the 64k Mac ROM. The Macintosh XL was not
really a Macintosh at all, but a repackaged Lisa 2, which shipped with
MacWorks as the default operating environment. Both the Lisa and the XL
could also run the native Lisa OS, with such software as:
- LisaWrite: word processor
- LisaCalc: spread sheet
- LisaGraph: charts
- LisaList: an outline builder, idea manager
- LisaProject: project scheduler including integrated PERT and Gannt
views
- LisaDraw: drawing program (predecessor to Mac Draw?)
- LisaTerminal: modem communications software.
