Märzen is one of the more popular beers in the Gordon Biersch lineup. A smooth auburn lager, it has been described as "bready," "hoppish," and "tasting like my father's smoking jacket."
On a personal note, this writer would like to issue a warning regarding this beverage. If you are attempting to get totally wasted, do not do so with this beer. "Bready" is weird enough going down.
