A 14th century
sect in
Russia which was an obscure offshoot of the
Russian Orthodox Church. They strictly adhered to all laws of moral behavior…at least when they were above ground. They believed that when you went more than 27 inches below ground,
anything goes. So they had a habit of holding their meetings (and orgies) in subterranean caverns.
