Linuxbierwanderung

The Linuxbierwanderung (Linux Beer Hike) is a yearly recurring event in which Linux users hike the hills and valleys of an area selected for its natural beauty, its beer, and (if possible!) its solar eclipse ;-).

• 1999 issue was in Germany. The place was Pottenstein in North Eastern Bavaria and the dates were August 9th to August 15th.
• 2000 issue was in England. The place was Coniston in the Lake district and the dates were July 29th to August 6th.

• The 2001 LBW was held 25 Aug - 01 Sep in Bouillon in the Ardennes (southern Belgium)
• A 2002 "Southern Cross" LBW is in the works for 30 Jan - 06 Feb in Motueka on the South Island of New Zealand.
