Created and owns one of the largest hazelnut cream filled waffer production facilities (aka Neapolitan). Manner started his first workplace with one employee on March 1st, 1890. He first began creating chocolate treats and later turned to other baked goods. In 1898 the first Neapolitan with hazlenut cream filling was created.

In 1900 Manner teamed up with Johann Riedl to create the largest confectionery factory in Austro-Hungary.

1913 was the year the firm was turned into a joint stock company.

Currently there are (4) factories running with a total of 660 employees.
