There are legends about four people of this name:

  1. HARPALYCE's father.

  2. A son of Lycaon.

  3. In the Aeneid, one of Aeneas' companions, who was slain by Camillus during the campaign against Turnus and the Rutuli.

  4. Theocritus mentions another Harpalycus who taught Heracles fencing and gymnastics.
