Αλιακμων
- The Haliacmon was a river in Macedonia, the god of which was said to have been the son of Oceanus and Tethys.
- Another legend has it that an inhabitant of Tiryns named Haliacmon had been smitten with madness and thrown himself into the river known until then as the Carmanor; thereafter the river took the name Haliacmon. Later still a third name was given to the same river, which then became the Inachus.
