Rather uncharacteristic Koelsch that tastes more like a Pilsener and can only be called a Koelsch because it's brewed in Cologne and uses the same characteristic yeast as the other brands. Annoyingly popular with tourists, its brewery is still in private hand and was probably founded around 1822. Due to its closeness to the more bitter Pilsener which seem to appeal to a broader base it slowly but surely eradicates other breweries into oblivion.
