The G60 engine is the second most powerful engine available to the Volkswagen Corrado. It is a 1.8 litre supercharged unit that put outs 158Bhp, in relation to the VR6's 178Bhp. The G60 engine is a great engine but didn't quite pull the Corrado to fun speeds. The Corrado was in fact about 400lbs heavier then a MK2 Golf or GTI which were powered by normally aspirated 1.8 and 2.0 litre engines. The supercharger provided that extra punch of torque but still didn't help 0-60 times.
