A Novel by Mario Puzo, author of The Godfather. Follows a struggling writer through the worlds of gambling, publishing, and Hollywood.
Some parts of this book are absolutely amazing (particularly the first few chapters), while others are lacklustre. While the book is written about a fictional character, there is the feeling that it is at least somewhat autobiographical.
This book is highly recommended, especially to those who enjoyed Puzo's other books.
