The main drag on Koh Samui. Originally, a few sets of bungalows and a small but respected bar scene. Now, a busy, crowded, commercialized bar and retail strip. Home to a McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Burger King, and numerous other multinational institutions bent on getting a piece of the tourist spending. This beach is also home to the Reggae Pub and the Green Mango, two older establishments that are, in my opinion, the only reason to go to Chaweng.
