A queen of the Thesproti who married Odysseus at the time when he was forced to leave Ithaca again to comply with the prophecy of Tiresias. Odysseus fathered a son by her named Polypoetes; he reigned over the country upon his mother's death, and Odysseus returned to Ithaca (Table 39)
