A
C++ Graphics Library from
Carnegie Mellon University. Currently in
version 2.0. Used most often by
AP Classes, particularly the one at
Carroll High School in
Southlake, Texas. 2D Only, so definately inferior to
OpenGL. Has many
strange things like grapical errors and no
auto-redraw.
Supports
wonderful things like
transparency,
jpeg images,
funky curves, and many other
graphical oddities. The newest
version 2.0 has all sorts of
event driven add-ins and new
ways to call functions.
Unforunately,
their web site is not much help and doesn't seem to be
well maintained. Then again, it's a
college web site, so the
webmasters have
other things to do, like
studying...or
partying...
