Novell's annual technical conference. Kinda like equivalent Microsoft events--you get to speak to tons of the company's engineers and product managers, hear about basically the next 12-24 months of their products, and see lectures by really smart people. And the parties are fun, and you get to network with lots of smart people.

Held every year at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. This makes it fun.

Some would think that a Novell conference would be quite dreary and sad, but it's not--there's actually a lot of good technology they have, and you can talk about things like Linux and not get slapped like you would at Microsoft's equivalent.
