Belinda is the ninth known moon of Uranus (starting from the inside), orbiting just outside the epsilon (outermost) ring, though it does not act as a Shepherd satellite. When Belinda was first discovered in 1986 by the Voyager 2 probe it (she?) was designated "1986 U 5". Belinda is named after the heroine of The Rape of the Lock by Alexander Pope. The uranian moon Umbriel is also named for a character in The Rape of the Lock
