Some other popular bases: base 2/binary, base 8/octal, base 16/hexadecimal
base 10 is ambiguous. in any base, its base-number will be 10. For instance, in base 8, the decimal number "8" is "10". The Decimal base should be called "base a" or somesuch, to avoid ambiguity. or maybe just decimal.
