BANKFIRST (caps are legally required) is a retail bank and credit card issuer based in the small town of Toronto, South Dakota. The bank is privately owned by Mert Lund and his son George.
The credit card operation has large administrative staffs in Sioux Falls and Huron, South Dakota and Chandler, Arizona.
The VISA and MasterCard products are branded as the "Action Card."
BANKFIRST employs about 2,000 people, all sites included.
BANKFIRST should not be confused with "Bank First," a retail bank based in Florida.
