Asymmetrix Toolbook was a
multimedia/
hypertext authoring and presentation system. It was heavily modelled after
HyperCard, the hypertext programming tool included with
Macs.
Toolbook was bundled with early versions of Windows 3.0, undoubtably due to the connections of Asymmetrix CEO and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Despite this fact, Toolbook quickly slide into obscurity.
