Hear ye, hear ye!
You may now view noders' various e2 affiliations via their homenode. Simply look under all the normal info (user since, last seen, etc) and you'll see a new subheading: members of.
If you're ashamed of your membership in certain groups - you know, like e2heroes or, uhh ... Content Editors - you can turn this setting off by going to User Settings and checking the appropriate box under the "Homenodes" section.
