Joseph Campbell was a leading 20th Century expert on myth. He studied the mythology of all major religions and spiritualities known to mankind. He summed it all up in one sentence:
Follow your bliss!
Strangely enough, my own bliss is rather comprehensive. It ranges from science and technology, including computer science and engineering, all the way to arts, such as photography, acting, writing, music, and graphics.
It is quite hard to follow one's bliss when that bliss encompasses so much. But when you do follow, it is some bliss! And no one can take that away.
So, whoever you are, wherever you live, whatever you do, please, remember to follow your bliss. Everything else is irrelevant. |
