For a foreigner to come to USA *for work*, following visa categories are available:
- B-1 - Business Visitor
- F-1 - Student Visa
- J-1 - Exchange Visitor, Scholar or Student
- H1-A - Professional Registered Nurses
- H1-B - Specialty Occupation Worker
- H2-A - Temporary Agricultural Workers
- H2-B - Temporary Non-agricultural Workers
- TN - NAFTA Trade Agreement (Canadian and Mexican Citizens only)
- L-1 - Intra-Company Transferee
- R-1 - Religious Worker
