Tabarka is a city on the Northern coast of Tunisia, it's main feature is a beautiful bay with rock spires on one side and a Genoese castle on the other. Next to the castle, there are other ruins and a dilapidated jetty. Rumor has it that the Tunisian military doesn't like visitors on the peninsula where the castle lies, although I managed to explore the peninsula quite extensively without any hassle. Algeria lies fifteen km to the west and Tunis is 250 km to the east.
