Piwafwis are
Drow cloaks. They are fire-resistant (+6 on
Saving Throw against Fire) and are equivalents to
cloaks of elvenkind, except they cannot be brought to the surface as the sun would literally turn them into
smithereens.
Most Drows wear them as it helps them camouflage in the darkness of the Underdark.
