Style Sheets are used in
HTML 4.0 to specify attributes for most elements in a page.
Style Sheets are replacing the use of many traditional attributes in
HTML 3.2.
Style Sheets also introduce position and visibility of elements in a web page and therefore give a web developer more control over visual display of a web page.
