Let's start by saying something about my nick: 'ieri'.
It's the first half of the pseusonym I assumed when writing poetry in high school, Ieri l'Altro. Ieri l'Altro means 'day before yesterday' in Italian, and Ieri means 'yesterday'. Ieri also has a sound similar to the Russian pet name my father sometimes used for me, Jerya (or Йеря - if your browser is capable of displaying unicoded Cyrillic characters).
The reason I didn't use a capital is that I hope to use E2 on my handheld with character recognition and the capital 'I' is a bit tricky to write.
Then a note on my father. He died on March 2, 2004, and I was stumped by the enormous amount of writings he left. This discovery is part of the reason I decided to participate in E2. I hope to leave some writen trails for others to read before I die.

Maybe I'll share some of his writings through E2 - if and when I have found out if that's OK.
It's been a while since I last logged in on E2. Guess things don't always go as planned... Seems E2 is not the right outlet after all. Sorry about that.
