Here on the edge of town

miles from Nowhere 

on the air,  dawn to dusk,  a signal that comes and goes

Here on the edge of civilization

we send out news and notes, 

weather and some music,   some times

Here where the roads move from four lanes to two

where hills stretch North of us,

with only the river and a desert to the South 

On the edge of this one horse town

miles from anyone who cares

broadcasting good news in the morning,  trouble at night
