Shichi Fujukin ("seven happiness beings") are: Benten, Bishamon, Daikoku, Ebisu, Fukurokuju, Hotei, and Jurojin. At
Sanganichi, the Japanese New Year, people pray to them after cleaning their houses thoroughly.
