Georgetown Prep is a private Jesuit secondary school located on Rockville Pike in North Bethesda, Maryland. Out of its approximately 400 students, 70% are day students and 30% are boarders. Specializing in a traditional liberal arts oriented education, study of Latin and religion are required, as well as the wearing of a standard uniform. This is one of the oldest Jesuit in the US, having been founded in 1789, and was once part of Georgetown University, but broke away in 1919.
