The T-850 is essentially an slightly more advanced Terminator that the T-800 model,a more advanced version of the same design.The T-850 uses the same facial flesh as the T-800,including the T-101 model.
It was one of the T-850's that came back to protect John Connor and Katherine Brewster from the T-X and ensure they survived Judgement Day.
