Serious Paintball Twinks have hampered the sport in various areas:
- Many Paintball establishments now ban the importing of outside paintballs, due to the unsavory practice of freezing the balls, which makes them lethally hard, so that they do not break on impact, and have been known to cause severe bodily harm. One can only assume that users of this technique find it amusing to kill/mail/destroy their "enemies".
- Overpumping of guns, or overpressurization, leads not only to rapid firing of more modern guns, but also a higher intensity of shot than was ever intended by manufacturers. This combined with the previously mentioned method of ammo preparation is an almost certain cause of serious injury in the sport, and definitely gives credibility to those who would wish to give Paintball as evidence of aggression and lack of maturity in modern civilization.
