Depressing area of north
London between
Archway and
Camden Town, named
not after Kent, but after a
Ken or
Caen Ditch, the same as
Kenwood. About once a week a pub
landlord gets
slit up a treat and/or a
pub burns down, going by a casual and
biased reading of the
Ham and High. On the other hand it does have the excellent
Owl Bookshop.
The Tube station is on the Northern Line, between Camden Town and Tufnell Park.
