Guitar god Bernard Butler was the original string-strummer and co-songwriter (with Brett Anderson) for the 90's neo-glam band Suede (now The London Suede in the US). He split with Suede in 1994 reportedly over creative and lifestyle differences during the making of their second album Dog Man Star (DMS to fans) then participated in colaborations with the likes of David McAlmont and Edwyn Collins before releasing his first solo album "People Move on" in 1998 and his second "Friends and Lovers" in 1999. Bernard has also composed music for film soundtracks.
