In Portland, Oregon, Chinatown is located just north of West Burnside and just east of the Pearl District.
There are a number of Chinese restaurants and Import Stores in Chinatown, but since it is really confined to a 15 or 20 block area of downtown Portland, I do not believe that it is currently a residential district for the Chinese of the city. It is, however, home to the Chinese Garden that was recently constructed in Portland, the largest outside of China itself.
