  Famous for devising the Magdeburg Experiment.
• Stephen Hawking
  Most famous for his book, A Brief History Of Time, and his ground-breaking work on black holes, despite suffering from motor neurone disease.
• Oliver Heaviside
  Simplifier of Maxwell's equations and all-around eccentric.
• Werner Heisenberg
  Author of the famous uncertainty principle, and one of the leading lights of early 20th century physics.
• Joseph Henry
  American physicist who worked on electromagnetism.
• Robert Hooke
  Contemporary and rival of Newton, who did important early work in microscopy and formulated Hooke's Law to describe elastic solids.

  German Nobel prize winner, Röntgen was the first to notice the phenomenon of X-rays.

  Russian physicist attributed with the creation of the fist soviet atomic weapons.
• Erwin Schrödinger
  Famous German physicist who disliked cats.
• Nikola Tesla
  Brilliant, eccentric mathematician, physicist and inventor responsible for alternating current power transmission, fluorescent lights and a dazzling array of other inventions we take for granted.
