Clerical trivia:

I know a guy who was named a monsignor a couple of years ago. Apparently, this makes him (technically) a member of the Pope's household.

When J2P2 dies, this guy will (technically) cease to be a monsignor, though of course he will still be a priest. However, I gather that one of the first things that the new incumbent does is reinstate all the monsignors.
